Customer Support & Data Processing Specialist

We are seeking a Customer Support & Data Processing Specialist to join our team at Be Moore Interpreting. Our company provides interpreting and translation services to education, municipalities, and other clients. This person will be responsible for acknowledging and receiving client requests, data entry, and communicating with clients and service providers. The ideal candidate is communicative, has an equitable perspective, and pays close attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge, receive, and record client requests through company channels

  • Collect information from clients & service providers such as contact details, language proficiencies, and special requirements 

  • Input data into the company database, ensuring all information is accurate and organized 

  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all client & provider information 

  • Confirm assignments with clients & providers 

  • Review the details of the assignments with clients and service providers to ensure accuracy & clarity of information

  • Address any questions or concerns from clients and providers and resolve them promptly 

  • Confirm the final details of the assignment, including payment and other terms

  • Respond to client and provider inquiries via email and other channels in a timely and professional manner 

  • Communicate any updates or changes in the assignments to clients and providers 

  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, providers, and colleagues 

  • Occasional travel may be required

Experience & Qualifications

  • 1+ Years of experience within Customer Service or Data Entry 

  • Strong Communication Skills: Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills and have the ability to clearly articulate their thoughts and ideas in a manner that is easily understood by others. They are able to effectively convey information through verbal and written communication, making sure their message is heard loud and clear.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously: The ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects at the same time, without sacrificing quality or accuracy. This skill is important in a fast-paced work environment where multiple tasks need to be completed in a short period of time.

  • Ability to work remotely: With the growing trend of remote work, the candidate will have the ability to work from anywhere is becoming increasingly important. Must be comfortable with remote work and be able to effectively manage their time, stay productive and communicate effectively with their team, even when they are not in the office.

  • Attention to detail: The ability to pay close attention to the details and accurately complete tasks, without missing anything important. This skill is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed correctly and to a high standard.

  • Passion for social justice initiatives: A candidate who is passionate about social justice initiatives is committed to promoting equality, fairness, and inclusivity in all aspects of society. They are motivated to use their skills and resources to make a positive impact in their community and beyond.

  • Familiarity with virtual platforms (i.e. RingCentral, Zoom, Google Suite, etc.): This refers to a candidate's experience with virtual communication and collaboration tools, ideally RingCentral and Zoom. Familiarity with these platforms has the skills and knowledge needed to effectively communicate and collaborate with others in a virtual environment.

  • 1+ years of Google Suite and database systems: This refers to a candidate's familiarity with popular productivity and database tools, such as Google Suite and database systems. A candidate with this knowledge has the technical skills needed to effectively manage information and data, and to use these tools to improve their productivity and effectiveness in their work.
